Golden Acorns Child Care: Safeguarding!

Children at the settings are never left unsupervised. There is a minimum of two members of staff on the premises at any one time and we operate according to the EYFS standards on adult to child ratios, staff are experienced and qualified. Volunteers at Golden Acorns are never left to work unsupervised and are asked to sign a volunteer agreement. All staff have a responsibility to report concerns they have about a child. our designated safeguard leads are TRACY and NIKOLA.

All our staff are trained in safeguarding with regular training. 

We pride ourselves on the extra care and safe environment we provide for each child within our care. 

All doors are secured, including a key code system, all doors are monitored closely and regular child count systems are in place to ensure no children are able to leave the premises unsupervised at any time.
